Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with BarsAtHome.com. Below is an overview of how orders are produced, dispatched, and delivered.

Production Time

All garden bars are made to order. Production begins after your order is placed.

Our current estimated production time is 1–21 working days from the order date. This timeframe relates to manufacturing only and does not include delivery.

Production times may vary depending on order volume and material availability. Any significant delays will be communicated where possible.

Dispatch & Tracking

Once your order has been completed and is ready for collection, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email.

Tracking details will be provided once the courier has collected the item. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking information to update after dispatch confirmation.

Delivery Information

We use APC Overnight for all deliveries.

This is a next-day delivery service aiming to deliver by 4pm, operating Monday to Saturday, excluding bank holidays.

Estimated transit times after collection:

  • Mainland UK: Next working day

  • Scottish Highlands: 2–5 working days

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by courier delays or peak periods outside of our control.

Additional Information

  • A signature may be required upon delivery

  • Please ensure delivery details are accurate at checkout

  • Delivery charges are clearly displayed during checkout

  • We currently ship within the UK only

Welcome to BarsAtHome.com. These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of our website and the purchase of products from BarsAtHome.com. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

1. About Us

1.1 BarsAtHome.com supplies wooden garden bars and outdoor furniture, including made-to-order and standard products.

1.2 Products described as “handmade” are individually crafted and may feature natural variations in appearance, texture, or finish. These variations are a normal characteristic of handcrafted wooden products.

1.3 We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version in force at the time of your order will apply.

2. Product Information

2.1 All product descriptions, images, and dimensions are provided to the best of our ability. Customers are responsible for reviewing this information carefully before placing an order.

2.2 As wood is a natural material, slight variations in colour, grain, and finish may occur and do not constitute a fault.

3. Orders and Payment

3.1 Orders are placed via our website and require full payment at the time of purchase.

3.2 We accept payment via major debit and credit cards. Payments are processed securely through our payment providers.

3.3 An order confirmation email will be sent once your order has been successfully placed.

4. Cancellations and Order Changes

4.1 Requests to cancel or amend an order must be submitted within 72 hours of placing the order.

4.2 Once production has commenced, orders cannot be cancelled or amended due to the made-to-order nature of the products.

4.3 If a cancellation is accepted after the 72-hour window and before production begins, reasonable costs incurred may be deducted from the refund.

5. Delivery

5.1 Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and may vary depending on order volume, location, and product type.

5.2 Customers are responsible for ensuring delivery details are accurate. We cannot be held responsible for delays or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete address information.

5.3 Risk passes to the customer once the goods have been delivered.

6. Returns and Refunds

6.1 Made-to-order and bespoke items are exempt from return unless they are faulty or damaged on arrival, in accordance with consumer protection regulations.

6.2 If an item arrives damaged or defective, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographic evidence.

6.3 Where a fault is confirmed, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund in line with your statutory rights.

6.4 Refunds will not be issued for damage caused by misuse, improper care, or normal wear and tear.

7. Disputes and Payment Issues

7.1 If you experience an issue with your order, we encourage you to contact us directly so we can resolve it as quickly as possible.

7.2 Payment disputes or chargebacks may delay order processing while the issue is reviewed by the relevant payment provider.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or products.

8.2 Our total liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the total amount paid for that order.

9. Governing Law

9.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

9.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
